TR1 Gold Autopilot

The Gold can interface with any Garmin GPS or NMEA 0183 compatible GPS system for ease of navigation to selected waypoints or routes. The ability to perform GPS-interfaced patterns and non-GPS patterns offers added safety as well.

Notes:

- Sold only in North America - The TR-1 Gold is compatible with most outboard motors, including Mercury; Mariner; Johnson Evinrude; Honda; Yamaha and Suzuki. Installation of the Gold will need to include components specific to your boat’s motor. Please contact your Garmin dealer for specific motor applications, options and accessories.

Garmin Tr1 Gold Pilot W/O Throttle And Bracket

*Throttle Control with Idle/Resume:

Allows you to bring the throttle to idle when a fish is on. Once the fish is netted you press resume and the autopilot returns to the previous throttle setting.

Remote Steer:

If you program the bent arrow buttons for remote steer, and when one of the buttons is pushed, the rudder is directly controlled by these pushbuttons until a straight arrow button is pushed to re-engage the autopilot or the system is returned to standby.

Step Turns:

Programmable with 10 choices from 1 to 90 degrees with one push of a button.

Zig-Zags:

Length of zig-zag and degree of turn in the zig-zag are both adjustable for your trolling needs.

Man Overboard Maneuver (MOB):

Brings you back over your favorite fishing hole. Or hopefully never, brings you back to a person who has fallen overboard.

Circles:

User adjustable lap times from 1 to 90 minutes. Great for staying with the fish!

GPS Interface:

If you hook your autopilot up to GPS you can track a GPS course with the pilot. Select a waypoint on your GPS and command "go to waypoint". With the autopilot in Heading Hold, press the GPS button on the remote. The autopilot will now steer to the heading commanded by the GPS and at the same time act to reduce the cross track error.

Reverse:

The autopilot will attempt to perform any of its steering functions when the boat is backing in reverse gear. Great for back trolling or backing into a drift situation.
